Europa Technologies are the official coverage map services supplier to the GSM Association. Full membership benefits include the publication of network coverage maps on the public gsmworld.com and private InfoCentre web sites. These sites enjoy several millions unique visitors every year and include users looking for both national and international roaming coverage. In order to produce the maps, Europa Technologies needs to receive coverage information from operators in one of a number of supported data formats. If network operators are able to supply their coverage in one the preferred formats, the map publishing service is provided free of charge for the first update of each network per year. This is a standard GSM Association membership benefit. 2G and 3G networks are handled separately. Europa Technologies offers a cost-effective range of data processing packages for operators who wish to provide their data in other data formats or need multiple updates per year to match the geographic expansion of their service.
